Monelle Lawrence-Baks discovered early on that nothing is constant except change. Monelle started out with aspirations to become an international physician. She captured work study opportunities at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, as an undergrad at Brown University. She later earned a Master’s of Science in Public Health in London, England. She soon realized, however, that her true passions lie in solving different problems and working with different organizations. She has excellent business acumen.
Monelle earned her MBA from Columbia Business School. While at Columbia Business School she was Co-President of the Silfen Leadership Board, Vice President of Competition for the Columbia Entrepreneurs Organization and a Peer Advisor.
Prior to founding Waveline Partners, Monelle was a senior manager at Accenture, a management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. As a seasoned executive with over a decade of business experience in global customer relationship management and strategic partnerships, Monelle led efforts in over 15 projects. These projects ranged from marketing strategy, sales force effectiveness, change management and organizational assessment across multiple business areas; including experience cross-industry in product launch management and channel partnerships. She also led large project teams, between 6 and 20, in high value engagements.
Monelle also worked for JPMorgan as a summer Associate in Product Healthcare Solutions – Treasury Services. Product Healthcare Solutions was an intrapreneurial bank vertical with a healthcare business opportunity of USD 10-50M to develop, launch, and monitor a business banking physician toolkit.
