A major health and life sciences company initiated a global externalization program. This is a shift to reshape business and refers to sharing resources (business and technical) with partners, suppliers, channels and customers. The company identified the need to align strategic planning and business development to this program. The company needed to initiate sub-projects to realize “Quick Wins.”
• Formulated action plan to increase effectiveness of the Strategic Planning & Business Development business unit with over 17 partner deals, ranging from pre-clinical to launched compounds.
• Led internal and external stakeholder management (Marketing, R&D, VC, Investment Banking).
• Collaborated with strategic communications and public relations partners to align action plan with associated communications.
